Soy Noodles🍝
Noodles are my go to meal when I have nothing left at home because it’s so easy to jazz up something basic! I promise you these soy noodles will have you making them even when your kitchen is stacked!
You need:
Half a white onion, sliced
200g noodles of choice
Tbsp dark soy sauce
Tbsp oyster sauce
Tsp fish sauce
Tsp honey or sugar
Tsp Chinese vinegar (or any)
Tsp sesame oil
Tbsp frying oil of choice
Tip: to make this vegan substitute the oyster sauce for mushroom stir fry and omit the fish sauce or grab vegan “fish” sauce
Method ~
Cook your noodles of choice. Drain and leave to sit in cold water.
Then fry your onions until soft and they start to brown. Drain the noodles and add them to the onions. Add the remainder of ingredients except the sesame oil. Leave to fry on high heat for 5-8mins. Lower the heat, add some spinach and sesame oil. Serve with some fresh coriander and enjoy!
