As we have cooked our way through another year, I love to look back and see which recipes were the favorites. This past year marked our blog’s 15th anniversary, and it sure has been a delicious year of cooking and baking.
I now have around 1300 recipes on the blog and shared plenty of new recipes this year. These were the Top 20 most loved Recipes of 2024.

How I Picked the Winners
I dove into our Google analytics and reviewed the recipes you were saving to your recipe boxes, along with which recipes were the most popular on Instagram, Facebook, and of course, YouTube, to come up with this list.
It’s always interesting to see the trends for the year, and there was one new trend that got me excited! I also included a handful of recipes that have consistently been favorites for many years, such as few of these have been on the list for several years in a row (hello Fish Tacos and Banana Bread).
Surprising Trends from 2024
It was fun to spot trends in the recipes you all loved the most which helps to guide us in what to post next. Here’s what all of these recipes seem to have in common:
- Comfort Foods – Home-cooked comfort food was the theme of 2024 – going back to the basics and classic recipes that nourish our body and soul.
- Easy Dinners – you all are loving the one-pot, 30-minute meals and casserole recipes. I even started a new category for Casseroles!
- Sourdough everything – I’m so happy that you love the sourdough recipes! I love all of the requests for making sourdough versions of everything. Keep those suggestions coming! Sourdough is a healthier way to bake and cook, and I have been obsessed with it. It’s been taking off ever since I published How to make Sourdough Starter.
- Easy Desserts – Sweetbreads and muffins were definitely a theme, from Zucchini Muffins to Blueberry Bread.
