The answer, if you ask me, is any plant milk you like BUT I would not recommend dairy milk, and I promise Iβm not just saying that because Iβm vegan.
When you mix matcha directly with milk, the casein protein in dairy milk binds to polyphenols in matcha, alters the bioavailability and blocks absorption of antioxidants. In short, youβre missing out on potential health benefits that matcha has to offer.
The good news is, this isnβt an issue with plant milk, so opt for something like oat, almond, soy or whatever else youβd like! Itβs better for the planet anyway π
