Today I am going to show you how to make SOY MILK. It is an easy, delicious, nutritious and affordable PLANT BASED MILK. Just 2 ingredients, soybeans and water! I have tried so many different methods but this is the best soy milk I’ve ever had. No beanie taste, it is naturally sweet. Needless to say, since it is homemade, there are no additives, no preservatives.
Does it sound exciting? Let’s start cooking!

🍅 INGREDIENTS:
==========
1 cup soy beans
2 cups water ( parboiling )
2 cups water ( blending )
6 cups water ( cooking )
==========
🍅 INSTRUCTIONS:
==========
1) Place soy beans in a pot and wash twice with running water. Remove bad beans
2) Add 2 cups water and simmer for 5minutes
3) Remove from heat and let rest for 30 minutes
4) Drain water
5) Place beans into a blender and add 2 cups water. Blend
6) Pour blended soy beans into a large pot. A stock pot is ideal since soy beans tend to foam quickly and overflow
7) Add 6 cups of water to the blender so that we get all the blended soy beans out!
8) Pour the liquid into a pot and simmer for 10 minutes. Keep stirring to avoid burning the bottom. 9) You can set aside until it cools off if you want to avoid handling hot liquid.
10) Transfer to a nut milk bag and squeeze all the liquid out. Be careful since the liquid is still HOT!
11) Decant into clean containers of your choice
12) You can keep in a refrigerator for 3 days

📢 NOTE:
==========
Don’t you worry! We are going to reuse the leftover soybeans (okara) in the upcoming post. Stay tuned!
