This easy plant-based recipe teaches how to make delicious soy-free vegan sausages from scratch. This recipe uses ingredients like white beans, Brazil nuts, and farro, perfect for anyone looking for a healthy, gluten-free sausage alternative. These homemade vegan sausages are full of flavor and texture and can be pan-fried or grilled for extra crispiness. Whether new to vegan cooking or a seasoned pro, this recipe is a must-try!

ā˜‘ļø PLANT-BASED SAUSAGES
Before adding other ingredients, chop your Brazil nuts and farro into a food processor.

✨ Ingredients:
1 cup of cooked white beans
1/2 cup of cooked farro ( if you want the sausages to be gluten-free, substitute farro for wild rice)
1/4 cup of Brazil nuts
1/2 cup of chopped brown onion
1/2 cup of mushrooms
3 chia eggs (3 tbsp of the ground chia seeds + 1/4 cup of spring water)
1 tbsp of tomato paste
2 tsp of all-purpose seasoning

2 tbsp of creole seasoning

✨ Directions:
Once you have added all the ingredients to your food processor, chop them
Only pulse/chop rather than run the machine continuously, as you want the ingredients to retain texture rather than turn into a paste.
If your mixture is too sticky, add a bit of flour ( we used 2 tbsp of quinoa flour )
Add the mixture to the refrigerator for 30 minutes
Form the sausages with your hands
Once formed, roll the sausages in parchment paper and twist the ends to secure the sausages.
Place the wrapped sausages in a steamer basket/pan and steam for around 35 minutes.
Once cooked, you can serve immediately, pan-fry, or grill for crispy results!
After steaming the sausages, you can refrigerate them overnight, and they’ll become firmer in texture.
