This is one of my favourite vegan Taco meat alternatives. โบ๏ธ๐ฎ The โmeatโ is easy to prep, has a super flavourful mild heat, and is an ideal dish to batch prep for your everyday Taco party. ๐คฉ๐ต๐ฅ
Mexican Style Soy Meat
200-300ml Spicy Tomato (see recipe below)
150g Soy Meat + 300ml Veggie Broth (I used โSojaschnetzelโ)
2x medium red onions
1x large clove of garlic
Oil to fry
Smoky Red Bell Pepper Salsa
3 x red bell peppers
180g white onion
3x cloves of garlic
1x dried chipotle chili (you can add more but if youโre not very familiar with heat, I suggest you start with one)
Roughly 5 medium-sized tomatoes
Tiny bit of oil to fry
Salt to taste
Water based on desired thickness (I suggest 150ml)
Bake vegetables for roughly 40 min in your preheated oven at 180ยฐC. Add the garlic (with peel) after the first 20 min to prevent it from burning. Take the veggies out, peel of the skin and mix them in a high-powered blender.
